The aim of the dictionary development by Tremedica and Cosnautas was to collect and organize the basic terminology related to COVID-19 in English and to propose equivalents in Spanish as a practical aid for translators, interpreters, editors, journalists, and scientific communicators.

In its current version (v. 2.01, June 2021), the Dictionary contains 6,153 lemmas in total, most of which refer to virological concepts, scales, vaccines, diagnostic tests, and medical devices related to COVID-19. It is a phraseological dictionary with usage notes and conceptual information. A selection of the lemma has been published in the journal Panace@ as a supplement, and the respective pdf can be downloaded for free from the Tremédica website.
